Expectations...one word that always lands you into problems. Everyone expects something from someone, but the emotional moment is when you do not get it the way you want. It suddenly changes everything around you. It alters people around you; from good to bad, beautiful to ugly, reliable to unreliable, sweet to annoying...n much more. Once your expexctations are not met, feelings like being cheated, backstabbed and sad become very common.
If you think someone will come for you...someone will come to you...someone cares for you...someone wants to talk to you...someone won't be angry...someone won't be busy...someone will be on time...someone can spend for you...someone will help you...someone will stand for you...someone will love you.. someone will like you...someone will appreciate you...someone will be happy...someone needs you...someone will feel good to have you around...well if any of these are true, you are surely being too much dependent on that " someone." Maybe that person is not bad, but as he or she didn't meet your expectations, you hate him or her. So you are at fault here, when you assume that a person with different personality and mindset will react according to your mindset. This fault causes you pain and you can't shout on people as you are the one who is at fault. The blame game is easy. What is difficult is to take the blame on yourself.
In such situations, since you have understood the pain and misery it causes, "zero expectations" should be the name of the game. People who are close to you will hear you, if they were not as per your expectations. But for remaining others, you should avoid having any expectations at all. So, all in all, you should expect only from people on whom you can vent out your anger without any reason, only these people will be there with you when you are angry and will help you to overcome your expectation problem.
Remember " zero expectations" is the name of the game...stay happy, live happy...because important people will understand...n surely you don't wanna give importance to those who can not understand!!
